Course Description

The SSI Advanced open water program is the perfect way to continue your scuba education and experience exciting new types of diving. Over two days, you will complete five adventure dives, each introducing you to a different specialty area. With E-Learning included, you prepare online at your own pace, making the practical sessions smoother, easier, and more enjoyable.

This course builds confidence, improves buoyancy, and opens the door to deeper and more adventurous diving—helping you discover what type of diving you love most.

Your Five Advanced Dives

You can choose your dives depending on conditions, interests, and what Zanzibar offers best. A typical program includes:

Deep Diving (up to 30m)

Navigation Dive

Perfect Buoyancy

Wreck Dive or Boat Dive

Fish Identification or Drift Dive

What You Will Learn

Advanced buoyancy skills

Proper use of reels, SMBs, and advanced equipment

Environmental awareness and marine life behavior

Specialty dive techniques

Certification

Upon completion, you will receive the SSI Advanced open water certification, enabling you to dive up to 30 meters and continue toward full specialty certifications or the SSI Stress & Rescue course.
